Honestly most of my usability qualms aren't *really* EmuDeck's fault, but about SRM and just the nature of Steam's interface.
If Steam(OS or Client) could bulk-set perf profiles for a bunch of games, like per-collection with per-game overrides, that would be SUPER helpful.

Or is the whole idea of SRM to scare the wit out of folks (by telling about the risks, as you do in your paper) for them to really start mitigating?

So if SRM is as risky as you say, you’d need to be in a pretty dire situation (eg runaway systems) to even think about doing it, but even then, imposing a highly risky tech on a highly risky situation seems …. even riskier (?)

SRM is "gaining traction?" Really? Where? Not in Africa where 55 countries just called for a global non-use agreement at the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment.
Seems important for all of us to be clear on WHO is pushing SRM and why. #ClimateSky 🔌💡

I have been running a 7K Wolverine, with dual SRM 6s. Standard 5/8/5, XL engine and IS pulse lasers, nothing too crazy.
It has become the bane of my local group however, because I have been using tandem charge warheads in the twin SRM 6s. It is trageted first every game I deploy it.

Tried rebuilding that a kind of straight clan tech rebuild of that arenafied Orion variant I found in MechWarrior 5, clan MASC and ECM suite, plus two SRM-6s and 3 LP lasers and since I had some room a couple assault knuckles as well and goddamn, what a machine.

Der Oktober war bisher nicht sonderlich kalt, aber weil so gut wie keine Sonne scheint hab ich schon 0,3 srm 🪵🔥verheizt, das reicht normal für den kompletten Oktober. Laut der Aufzeichnungen seit 2013 so auch noch nie vorgekommen. 😑
