Cruciform halo indicates it is Christ, bird pos figure of holy spirit, border may show Byzantine/Carolingian influence.

St Martin’s at North Nibley has an elegant south aisle dating from the later 1400s. Slender octagonal piers and capitals carved with various motifs, including this foliate head/green man.

One in Cheap featured these arms of England and Castile. Dismantled in 1643.
