Lmaooo I am pretty sure this was my friends and I, cannot believe *this* is how I learn they have faces on both sides when I've been going to this Superdawg since I was a child
At Superdawg watching some girls try to take a selfie with the roof statues but couldn’t get an angle without the sun behind them. I wanted to tell them “the hot dogs have faces on both sides” but that felt like a pretty insane thing to say to a stranger

First stop, Superdawg Drive-In, Norwood Park.
The hot dog bun was annoyingly moist by the time I liberated it from the fries, and the application of toppings was somewhat haphazard but all was forgiven for the perfect thick all beef wiener.

Gene & Jude's, open 1946, is mustard, relish, onion, peppers. Are you telling me they don't serve a real Chicago-style dog? Ditto Patio, 1948, and Jimmy's Red Hots, 1954. Superdawg, 1948, uses pickled green tomato. And that's just a handful of the oldest greats... (7/11)
