As further play on the Mongo Beefhead’s “kitbash” origins, in my WEG SWD6 RPG stats for Kit, he has a standing challenge PCs could take up — inspired by something a friend of mine did irl: she brought an ingredient into Boston craft cocktail bar “Drink” for their mixologists to use as a challenge! 🍸

I'm going to run a Star Wars RPG game for my kids and got them to make their characters, it's been a goddamned delight. I'm also writing an actual campaign for SWRPG, that's also a delight, but now I have to worry about my players smuggling booster blue and not trying it and becoming mind readers.

Not me almost throwing myself into a woodchipper because my SWRPG world was showing up as not compatible with the core that was on and every fix was giving the same errors for game day teehee smile

What got me thinking is that I'm a lot on the discord for the SWRPG with the funny dice, and we sometimes get GMs asking how to do a surprise Order 66 scenario, where there's a high likelihood of the PCs dying. And that can so easily go into edgelordism, what with the kid Jedi being killed and all.

I run SWRPG and Genesys most, and both have copious amounts of NPC resources available. So it's easy to just grab something and flavour as needed

coming from genesys and swrpg, its truly insane to see the daggerheart community convince themselves theyre irrelevantly small. they have no idea how good we fuckin have it
make ur money yea sure whatever but the commercialization of everything is taking a toll on my fuckin soul this is my first time engaging with a mainstream RPG as a GM and like,,,, the resources are lovely but oh my god its exhausting to be nickled and dimed at every turn

I just had an epiphany about Star Wars, the color of a lightsaber is pretty random what if a padawan hade a naturally red lightsaber? Not bled or synthetic just a hugh of red, how would they and the jedi react? Good basis for an swrpg story me thinks.
