Every Year Zero game is just different enough from one another that they make my lizard brain itch in unique ways. Coriolis, Twlight 2000, Alien, Symbaroum, doesn't matter. I am not immune to Free League propaganda.

I think Symbaroum arguably tackles this the best where it looks like stock dark fantasy setting and then it casually drops mention of man-arachnids in passing and then also the official state doctrine is that dragons and trolls are not real even though goblins and ogres are respected citizens

Currently in a D&D campaign to test out the new books, before that was the Daggerheart beta and then the Cowboy Bebop RPG. I’ve played ~20 different systems I think, some of my faves are Alien, Symbaroum, Fantasy/Modern Age, and Spire.

How do folks feel about appropriately lengthy titles for #ttrpgs?
By which I mean having a title more than 2-4 words long? So often games have single-word titles (Symbaroum, Fate) or short phrases.

2024 is off to a grand start for gaming. Symbaroum on Tuesday was tremendous. A tense battle with an abomination concluded the session. Players now have an appreciation for combat in this RPG. TOR on Wednesday was a great character driven session with an ace spotlight moment for my stern Dúnedain. 😊
