I almost lost legal status because Tachikawa Immigration Bureau in Tokyo didn't want to accept my visitor visa application, had to fly to Fukuoka with one day left on my residence card to get the renewal, so that I had three more months to show my Kickstarter funds to get the long term visa.

From 1950 –1962 Canadian, British, and American intelligence assessed “The Likelihood of War” by weighing USSR policy, ideology, and strength. The Korean armistice, East German riots, changes in the Politburo, Sino-Soviet alignment, and a USSR H-bomb detonation impacted their threat analysis.
POWs (recently repatriated in the UN POW exchange) pose for a group photograph with their flight nurses at Tachikawa Air Base, Japan. They are proudly displaying the American flag which was hand made by them during their long imprisonment at a Communist POW camp. Officer shown kneeling in front of the group is identified as Maj. David F. Macghee, 137 El Central St., Moorestown, N.J. Maj. Macghee, a B-29 pilot of the 371st Bomb Sqd., was captured on 10 November 1950 after his plane was shot down by flak and MIGs. September 2001/Mimi Tachikawa/Video Mail Now settled in New York City, Mimi describes her experiences there through a video mail. She says that she has made a lot of friends in her school. Then she starts to talk about Native American tribes, and how they had totem poles that protected them, which is similar to the shugorei in Japan. She also wonders if Digimon were actually around before the creation of the computer network, perhaps in the form of totem poles. Then, she describes her experiences with the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, and that she met other DigiDestined helping to clear away the rubble to try and find survivors. She says that she was helping by carrying away the injured, also by cooking with her mother for the rescuers.

Inkventpocalypse Day 22 aka Enigma Stationery, Diamine, & Colorverse inkvent (& a Tony’s tiny choco).

Day 22 = 2 shimmers - a weird greybrown & an oceany one. 1st one I’ve owned - a purple grey.

I’ve typed Portuguese so many times now.

A dotted notepad held open with a Traveler’s Company brand brass clip. Everything is sitting on the Enigma Stationery Inkvent scratch off sheet that tells what the daily ink sample is. Day 22 is scratched off and says “Kobe Ink #32 Tamon Purple Grey”. The ink swatches, top to bottom are Enigma Stationery Inkvent 2024 set B Day 22 Kobe Ink #32 Tamon Purple Grey, which is a dark purple with greyed undertones. The doodle is from a Postcard of a street in Edo Japan (Tamon Street, Kobe). Vanness Pens says this: “Tamon Street is a popular entertainment district for Kobe people". Middle ink swatch is Diamine Inkvent 2024 Black Edition, Nutmeg (shimmer) a greyish-warm-taupey-brown colour that defies description. It has a fairly heavy gold shimmer. There is some shading. The doodle is of a couple dried nutmeg seeds. Bottom Ink is Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Portuguese Meteor (glistening) is the second of the non-standard inks in this Colorvent. It’s an oceany Caribbean blue that shades wonderfully and has a very subtle aqua blue shimmer. It foamed up and was very hard to get the shimmer to translate to the page. It’s very stubborn. The doodle a drawing of the meteor that was on social media in 2024 over Portugal. At the bottom of the page is the social media info, titles in Tamon Purple Grey & the usernames in Portuguese Meteor: Instagram: @subgirl; Open IG / Inkyblog: @subgirl_inkygeek; BlueSky: @inkygeek.com Angle shot of the three swatches to show the shimmer in Nutmeg and an attempt to show the stubborn shimmer of Portuguese Meteor. Another shot trying to show the shimmer in Portuguese Meteor. I swear there's aqua blue shimmer in there, and you can actually see it IRL, it's just very very subtle. The door of the Colorverse Colorvent being held open with the bottle in the well to show the following text on the inside of the door: “The Portuguese Meteor is a color inspired by a meteor that streaked across the Portuguese sky in 2024.” I cannot stop reading it as "portu-gueeze" like Les Nessman saying "Chai Chai Rodu-gueeze" on WKRP in Cincinnati omg I am old.

It has lighter shading in the written titles versus the swatch. Middle ink swatch is Diamine Inkvent 2024 Black Edition, Grotto (extreme sheen) is a red-orange that is so heavily sheening with green-gold that it’s hard to see any of the underlying red-orange base colour. Bottom Ink is Colorverse Colorvent 2024 DaVinci Glow which is a light cool blue-grey with blue in the heavier areas. It’s not very legible in the text.
