Catford #parkrun 295 saw the highest number of finishers since early 2020 - 280, swelled by lots of #parkwalkers. A massive thank you to the 40 volunteers who put it on - this included 15 pacers. There were 40 new PBs - this may well be linked!

Loved doing Tailwalker for the first time recently! I still prefer Parkwalker but either-or. I get what you mean about timekeeper! At least from what I’ve experienced though, people don’t mind if you get it a bit off sometimes. People with rare exceptions seem to understand it’s free for a reason!

The joy of #parkrun volunteering.
Personally, I don’t even think of it as “giving back”. To me (and others) it’s just another way to enjoy parkrun 💜

Tailwalker at Figges Marsh Junior #parkrun this morning. Hadn’t realised the clocks went forward when I volunteered… and denied a credit for completing the run because they refused to believe that I’m fourteen years old.

We were aided by 11 lovely and talented volunteers, including tailwalker Steve who finished his 100th parkrun. He became just the 6th Joe Creason parkrunner to hit this milestone. Congrats Steve!
