Functions in programming and functions in Maths this week! If you teach both, why not combine the two, e.g. if f(x) = x² and g(x) = x + 1, then you could code both as functions to reinforce the programming concepts and demonstrate the difference between f(g(2)) and g(f(2)). #TeamCompSci

It took just 8 minutes for thieves to steal the Napoleonic-era crown jewels from the Louvre. There weren't enough cameras and the ones there were there were facing the wrong way.

Could a 50-year-old maths problem have foiled the heist?

If you ask an LLM to create a worksheet, it doesn't know what you want to ask, it just knows what everyone else does. Is there a question that you regularly ask your students that you haven't seen anyone else ask? I'll start - "Is there more than one way to represent 20₁₀ in binary?" #TeamCompSci
