📖 #OTD in the #History of #Literature 1 Feb 1846, #TheophileGautier published "Hashish Club" in the Revue des Deux Mondes. The piece described his initiation into the famous Parisian Club des Hashischins (Club of the Hashish-Eaters), detailing how he got very stoned indeed.
