Two rest days at Tilpa. A chance to let the body recover a bit. This was the first break since leaving Warwick.

Drifting downstream of Tilpa and about to loss phone coverage for a few weeks.

When we arrived at Tilpa Pub and I walked out the back to see the Darling River, I really felt like I'm on my way back home. Maybe it's because I've rowed on the Darling, maybe it's the trees, maybe it's because the Darling flows to the Murray and I've spent lots of time there. No matter: home soon.

I'm leaving Tilpa on the 15th May and may not have phone coverage again until Pooncarie 825 km downstream.

This will take approx. 2 wks and depending on water levels, up to another 2 wks exploring the lakes. 1/2
