Practice what I preach. Had a brief discussion about regrets and film availability. So I placed an order for 3 bulk rolls of B&W film & a bunch of Ultramax. 2 of the B&W rolls are from China where the prices are still fairly low.

i'm the opposite, i like gold but never really clicked with ultramax. as for 800t, i used it a few times but i went off the halations after a while. these days i just shoot 500t, which is also much cheaper (though i usually screw up removing the remjet!)

it is! and honestly for an 800 speed film it's pretty reasonable (though as always, not so reasonable i can bulk buy). i've ordered some 400 and 200 too; i just want a kodak alternative. i like ultramax, but gold i've never really got on with
