Too true!
I enjoyed it! I had only ever seen Stereo (for UTSC) and Scanners (thanks to Louis del Grande) before, so I've not dug into his films much before, but I really liked the feel.
We'll certainly be digging into more!

Tessa Blanchard Graduates Magna Cum Laude from UTSC
Some big news this afternoon as former TNA World Champion Tessa Blanchard announced her graduation magna cum laude from the prestigious University of Texas at San Antonio. This comes ahead of another episode of TNA IMPACT, where the best in the game, won't be wrestling. Easily the most talented Knockout today, and arguably one of the best in history, is conspicuously missing from Team TNA for next week's NXT InVasion! No, I will not refer to it as Showdown, because that's lame. Her journey prominently featured her involvement in the UTSA Army ROTC program.

Toronto's Morris Lum! He's great. (I guest spoke in one of his classes at U of T Scarborough a decade ago called Suburban Identity. First time out at UTSC - real different centre of gravity than downtown campus. I've encourage my students to take a course there or 'sauga campus since)
'In Morris Lum’s photographic archive of Chinatowns, change is the only constant.'
A photographer traveled across North America’s Chinatowns. Here’s what he saw | CNN
Capturing culture and commerce in over 20 Chinatowns, Morris Lum has compiled a living archive of migration patterns, diasporic trends and urban gentrification.

Allocating space disproportionately in favor of cars also means taking space from other modes of transport. UTSC students told us about the inequities in transport planning in and around Scarborough and how this affects their everyday lives.
The distribution of public land in cities has serious implications for how we move, how safe we feel, and who can access opportunities. @lanrickbennett.bsky.social + our data viz team find that 80% of T.O. street space is dedicated to motor vehicles:
Who are streets for?
More than 80% of street space in Toronto is inequitably dedicated to motor vehicles. How can this be fairly re-designed?
