I also have the Undergrads set. I didn’t have a vcr in college, but we watched it often. It was very much of it’s era!

My friend Sherrin took apart my VCR bc the tracking wouldn’t work

As a teenager, I spent countless hours with #MTV on, finger hovering over the VCR record button, hoping the next video would be my favorite...
Today, we have #YouTube. Whatever video, whenever, and as many times as you want. MTV is obsolete.

Has there ever been a throwbacky nostalgia bait movie that was made to emulate the look of an image on a crt but unobtrusively? No pretending to flip through the channels or faux commercials or vcr tracking bits, just the badly calibrated crt experience like filter. Like a whole feature like this.

I was able to get my hands on a VCR with Video out, so now I am able to screen capture my consoles with Coaxial including the Atari 2600 and Intellivision. :3 This gives me an idea for maybe either an Atari or Intellivision stream at some point. 💜
