With fabric, you can always cut off more, while with crocheted items, you cannot. But you CAN always add more. Therefore, when sewing, I recommend choosing the larger size in case of doubt, and when crocheting, the smaller one. Here, I had to enlarge a sweater.

I have never written or published a pattern, but I am tempted to give it a try for this one.

Joined the first sleeve to the sweater. I don't like sewing crochet panels together, so I slip stitched the outer loops together. Do you like the effect it creates? What is your go-to method of joining crochet work?

Alternating between front-loop only and back-loop only creates a completely different texture to standard single crochet stitches.

?
