Plus you can hold some of the reptiles and bugs! I also held a leopard gecko. The guy offered to let me hold a tarantula or a vinegaroon and I was like "oh, NO thank you"

Been a while, but, last week I went to the first Reptile expo in my city in about 20 years, and I came home with this little love!
Their name is Xenomorph, or Xeno, and they are a Vinegaroon (aka whip scorpion). I think Xeno is a male, but sexing these guys isn't easy.

my vinegaroon has built her winter burrow and i won't see her until spring!! it's amazing she completely sealed herself off, even the entrances to the burrow are gone, so i officially have a box of dirt for the next few months

Ryder found a vinegaroon outside and got sprayed X_X. He smells like salt and vanilla chips so I gotta go bathe him. I saw him messing with something and when I came up, the vinegar vinegaroon just scurried away

Chimeras come in many different flavours. There are Lacerpions (general reptilian and scorpion, but isn't strictly scorpions, can be vinegaroon esque), Serparachs (snake and arachnid), Vesyrms (vespian dragon/wyrms)

I don't know how early they go into hibernation mode. Most breeders don't want to ship them during that.
