The Bighorn Sheep were less visible than usual in Waterton Canyon yesterday. Just when I had given up and turned around to go home, one came out to say hello.

American Dipper -- an interesting little bird with a white eyelid (it's not their nictitating membrane). It's not known why they've evolved to have such noticeable blinks.
