I should be weaving in my ends on a hat so I can show off this great hat and cowl set I made, but the spirit has not moved me yet. Instead...

Here is a shawl I've been working on. I'm using the basic design of the Off Tropic pattern by Alina Appasova but without any of the mosaic.

This photo shows a fairly indistinguishable knitting project that is Garter stitch knitting with two yarns. A solid(ish) blue switched at intervals with a speckled white and blue hued yarn. It will eventually be a trapezoid shawl.

We spotted a guy open carrying hand gun holtered on his hip weaving around on a moped. Rent a cop at Sperry grumman "eagle eyed him. " Both receded into the crowd or shadows.

But I am grateful for bike rides, restaurant time with the family, kids & dogs and my brother’s creativity.

Their eyes met across the throng of travelers. B’alith’s face lit up with a combination of surprise and joy and he redoubled his pace, weaving through the slower passengers towards his intended target. Zhai’a stepped forward to meet him, an answering smile tugging at the corners of his lips, and found himself wrapped tightly in the familiar warmth of his lover’s embrace.

B’alith held him for a long moment, burying his face against the curve of Zhai'a's neck to take in his scent before straightening again to crush their mouths together in a kiss that left no room for doubt over whether he'd been missed. Zhai’a dimly registered murmured comments rippling through the people in the crowd who recognized one or the other of them—Who is that? I think that’s Hearer Zhai’a’s husband. Matron's tits, he’s married to the Warrior of Light?—and for a brief shining moment none of it seemed to matter. B’alith smelled so wholly of himself, resin incense and vanilla soap and that curiously perpetual whisper of ozone, and he was warm and solid and safe, and he was home.

Someone in our weaving guild is giving away an absolutely beautiful floor loom for FREE because she’s downsizing and wants it to go to a good home. I mostly don’t regret not being rich but if I WAS a loom barn would be where the money went lol

From the mid-1920s until 1933, Paul Klee taught a design class for the weaving workshop of the Bauhaus, a German art school combining ne art and craft. Concurrent with his classroom interaction with student weavers, Klee began to use increasingly unusual fabrics in his paintings, including cotton, jute, and silk, to explore the interaction between paint and the many distinct textures of his supports. In late works such as Exotics, painted on coarse burlap, Klee recalled his formative journeys to Tunisia and Egypt in 1914 and 1928, respectively. While these trips to North Africa, then under occupation by France and Great Britain, originally positioned him as an adventurer in the eyes of his contemporaries, the rough-hewn, woven character of the painting’s support was an expression of his long-standing interest in weaving.

The car pulled onto and then above the road, weaving through layers of other vehicles that whizzed past. All the while, Jason tried to keep at least one eye on the suspect pushing through pedestrian traffic.
“If you want you can move up to the front,” Jason said. “Just don’t bump my elbow.”
“While we’re dodging traffic on a crowded city street?”
“Yeah, I bet you could fit between the seats.”
“I think I’ll pass.”
“Suit yourself.”
“Please just focus on the road.” She grabbed one of the shoulder belts that was off to one side of the rear section and wrapped it around her arm, gripping tightly to the nylon strap.
“Gotta focus on the perp, too.” The car dipped below the second layer of traffic, skimming just above the cars at ground level.
“Just please don’t get me killed.”
“Okay, couple things. First of all, if anything’s gonna kill us, it’ll be the dude with the pump. Second, this thing might not be bulletproof, but if we hit a pedestrian, he’s still gonna get the worst of it. Speaking of…”
Jason cranked the wheel, sending the car into a tight, half-circle turn. They hopped up onto the curb and came to a rest face-to-face with the man wielding the shotgun.
He swung it up it towards the windshield.
“Oh shit!” Jason ducked back, turning as he did so, and threw himself over Evangeline.
