Nashville, Tennessee is home to 20 (yes twenty!) Waffle House locations.
I noticed recently that none of them are accessible via my closest bus route (the 56, Nashville’s second highest ridership line).
It got me to thinking: can I get to every Waffle Home in Nashville by bus? And on what routes??

They serve no purpose other than to make it impossible to lie down on the bench. They can't be used as armrests, as I believe they tried to pass them off as, as your arm slides off. WeGo can kiss my ass.

since the cold we have to let the car start and run for 5 min before wego and instead of starting at 7:25 (we leave at 7:30 to not be late) he started at 7:34

Vegas Loop recently hit a milestone of 3mm passengers. Being open for about 1700 days, that's about 1800 per day which is roughly equivalent ridership to the 23 Dickerson WeGo line.
And the Loop fares are up to 6x higher than Wego...

I just had a chance to watch this portion of the meeting and if WeGo thinks this is the last conversation on this topic it won't be.
At yesterday’s WeGo Board meeting, Chair Gail Carr-Williams said WeGo responded “instantly, and in an outstanding fashion” to the federal shutdown.
This was right after @quinevanssegall.bsky.social asked the board to partner with council on a plan for emergency fare suspension in the future.

WeGo Niagara Parks Commission only accepts RFID bus day passes (no cash or single ride) which can be purchased from the GO/VIA station or gotten from your hotel or purchased online in a package with GO tickets. It is completely separate from the Niagara Region Transit’s fare system.

- Increase Rte 18 frequency to every 10 minutes.
- If you take bus to airport, pay $10 at airport bay before disembarking, in order to maintain headways.
- If going from airport, pay $10 when boarding
- install luggage racks on these buses (no-brainer)

The seeming inability to acknowledge that WeGo could have done better — and could do better in the future — is disappointing.
We can both acknowledge that WeGo thankfully made important efforts to ramp up Journey Pass distribution on short notice AND strive for better in the future.
