but then recently (same year Bahamut descended into Eorzea), a voidsent saw his wandering spirit in Lapis Manalis and ressurected him.

On the Warrior of Light’s trip to the moon to hunt Zenos and Fandaniel, this viera man joined the fight against Zodiark as ordered by someone called the Necromancer. He fought bravely, but as they learned the consequences of killing the Primal, Weiss asked to join the Scions in their efforts to stop the Final Days.
He proved to be a reliable ally despite the aloof personality. Upon closer inspection, Y’shtola recognized his aether to be very similar if not the same of a primal, and he revealed he was, long ago, made to be a vessel for an eikon called Jormungandr.
