I remember back when Alchemist was half of the kid rap duo Whooliganz. He was called Mudfoot and Scotty Caan was called Mad Skills. They were part of Soul Assassins under Buzz Tone Management. He studied at the foot of DJ Muggs around Ralph M, DJ Lethal & T Ray. I have his earliest beats on vinyl.

In 1991, 14-year-old Maman Andy Caan decided to become a duo named the Whooliganz. While rhyming at a party in Los Angeles, they attracted the attention of B-Real of Cypress Hill. He invited the teens to join his crew, Soul Assassins, which also included the groups House of Pain and Funkdoobiest.
