Born in Melfort, SK in 1922, he had a steady acting career from the 1950s to 1990s. He appeared in The Andromeda Strain, Futureworld, Murder She Wrote, Columbo and many more. He won a Tony Award for his role as George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
