Welcome back to another Warcraft #WorldbuildingWednesday!

Part 37: The Pandaren Zodiac!

We talked a bit about the Lunar Festival during last year's holiday WBW, but I thought it would be fun to talk about the WC equivalent of the Chinese Zodiac to celebrate next week's holiday!

Instead of a civilized world in the middle of the map and wilderness around it, plop a big forest/mountain range/sea in the middle with civilization scattered on the edges.

Hey! Let's start a thing!

#WorldBuildingWednesday

Post an idea or prompt for a campaign seed, cool setting, or just ramble about world building for #rpgs #ttrpgs #dnd or even #writing books, I guess.

Here's a quick starter one:

And that will do it for this week!

As always, thanks for reading! Feel free to share questions, comments, and critique, or to borrow anything you like for your own stories!

I'll be back again soon with another #WorldbuildingWednesday.

Until then, fair skies, and strong winds!

Golnesh is the god of land and constructive art. His domain of patronage is fairly wide; drawing, painting, sculpting, and even areas like smithing and architecture can be considered part of Golnesh's sphere of influence.

It's #WorldbuildingWednesday! We usually only credit humans with the ability to make structures that change our world, but other creatures do it too. E.g., beavers dam rivers and flood entire areas. What species exist on your world that change their environment? #worldbuilding #writing #Wednesday

Welcome back to Warcraft #WorldbuildingWednesday Part 46: The Great Timeline Squish Experiment

This week is going to be a little bit different.

Learning about K'aresh's timeline got me thinking about how insane WoW's dates are. So, let's see if there's any way we can fix that.

Do your characters suffer from same face syndrome?

The top set are early tests, about a year old. I try to compare my character designs as my art changes. There is also another reason. Three of the four are related, and they should look similar, but not too similar. #art #worldbuildingwednesday
