Ren Lubell (he/they) is a major bookworm and studybug, placing his self worth in what he knows and can accomplish (especially over other people). He places a lot of emphasis on his outer appearance as they're extremely resistant to delving into their past, largely out of shame due to their estranged father. Inner circle: Taion (XBC3) Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney) Cho Sang-woo (Squid Game) Pierre Bezukhov (Great Comet of 1812) Outer circle Yusuke Kitagawa (Persona 5) Cheren (Pokemon) Mizutani Shizuku (TnK) Adenine (XBC2) Istina (Arknights) Kyoko Kirigiri (Danganronpa) Watashi (Tatami Galaxy) Odile (In Stars and Time) Most of these characters speak to Ren's academic and bookworm identity, as well as touching upon how cold, introverted, and even ruthless he can be at times. And bonus points if the character has parental issues to some extent (or whatever the analogy for parent is), lol (Taion, Edgeworth, Yusuke, Kyoko, Odile) Satoru Yamamoto (he/him) is a self centered billionaire CEO who's had everything handed to him on a silver spoon. Super pathetic though, especially when things don't go his way. He's painfully human as anyone else, so use that against him. Also Ren's half brother and so totally doesn't have a complex about that in relation to their shared father. Inner circle: Big Jack Horner (Puss in Boots) Chairman Rose (Pokemon) Billy Flynn (Chicago) Hades (Kid Icarus Uprising) Outer circle: Bana (Xenoblade) Stan Edgar (The Boys) Gideon Graves (Scott Pilgrim) So Sejima (AI the Somnium Files) (though let's be real it really should be that Other character but I'm not about to spoil the whole game for everyone) Miles Braun (Knives Out: Glass Onion) Liquid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) Byakuya Togami (Danganronpa) Kirari Momobami (Kakeguri) A bunch of rich and/or pompous assholes for the most part. Literally the killer in any murder mystery. Evil gays /j But a lot of these characters are truly unhinged (and pathetic), which is the fun part of conceptualizing Satoru! Chishiki Yukimura AKA DVST comes across as an unassuming music nerd on the surface, but it's actually all a front to hide his manipulative self. Well, the music nerd part isn't a lie, but he's also not a great person. ... Music takes aside. Is this what a performative male is?? Inner circle: Lemon Cookie (Cookie Run) Wheatley (Portal 2) Sou Hiyori (Your turn to die) Curly (Oklahoma! Specially the 2019 revival) Outer circle: Kyubey (Madoka Magica) Amalthus (Xenoblade 2) Joshua (TWEWY) Anthony Fantano (the internet's busiest music nerd...) Dennis (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) Scott Pilgrim Magalor (Kirby) Henry Cooldown (No More Heroes) The general theme I went with was "the worst guy you'll ever meet", ESPECIALLY if they come across as unassuming or normal on the surface. Looking at you, Magalor. And many others on the kin onion :P This one is fun because of how much psychic damage it causes people. But there's still the pathetic vibes in the onion as well! If he's not an asshole then he's just a pretentious music nerd. It's easy to humble him that way. Angie Ross (she/her) is upbeat, kind, and loves cracking a joke. If anything, she's a bit naive, but she smiles through it all. I also have been subjecting her to the horrors lately, like multiple time loops centered around repeated heartbreak or her TV host job that she feels... Ambivalent towards! She has a bad time admitting when things are going badly for her, thinking people have it worse, which is a wild mindset for someone trapped in a time loop. But at the same time, who would be there to even understand...? Oh well, all she can do is smile! Inner circle: Fionna (Adventure Time) Jupe (Nope) Tsuruno Yui (Magia Record) Sena (XBC3) Outer circle: Eric Andre... Emma (Gen V) Orpheus (Hadestown) Ryuji Sakamoto (Persona 5) Roxie (Scott Pilgrim) Leorio (Hunter x Hunter) Pit (Kid Icarus) Kirby! General vibes are kind hearted and silly for the most part of course, but with a sadder core centered around loneliness. Like, silly guy being subjected to the horrors. Hi Kirby. Also bonus points if a character is trapped in a time loop of some kind (shoutout Sena, Tsuruno technically?, and Orpheus). Also Jupe is easily the most fucked up addition. Something about being thrust in the spotlight against your will and letting it consume you because falsely thinking you're special when ultimately you're just fodder for the entertainment machine. Anyways!

Overall the DLCs have better pacing and more focused narratives, while the open worlds of the main games can be a bit much, especially if you have ADHD. XBC1's open world feels the most integral but has the weakest combat. XBC2 is a
Playtime for XBC trilogy. Roughly 100 hours per game.

Man... the fuck do you need additional storage for at launch.
Console has 256gbs of memory, and most 1st party stuff is tiny. I think XBC3 and Smash are about the biggest meaningful games and they're under 20gbs.

I remember being about 25 hrs in. Maybe on ch 4? I remember someone telling me that something major was gonna happen for me.

I haven’t touched it in over a year. Maybe I just start fresh. I have heard many amazing things about XBC3 as a whole.
