It's kinda always been a thing and I am very self conchas about it but... I will zettai ni isshokenmei ganbarimasu... I'm hoping that the more I just say the stuff I write out loud and say everything exactly the way I perceive them it'll just disappear naturally but! at this point who knows

the thing is genuinely doa is such a fun fighting game but also the animations and cloth physics and outfits and everything are precision designed to be as enticing as possible. the main character of the series is in a perpetual state of Zettai Ryouiki it's insane

Seizon Senryaku, Zettai Unmei Mokushiroku, the many examples in Yurikuma, it's all satisfying soundbites accompanied by imagery that sticks with you. Revue did the same with all the rebirth & wi(l)d-screen baroque, now it's further trickling down with Sayonara Lara scratching the brain
