Just finished reading this book which is part history part travel part memoir part contemporary politics. -It’s really a page turner - read it during my 7th visit to Cyprus and as much as I thought I knew about the island - I learned so much and given it is so well written, in a very enjoyable way.

Well instead you got Opinio Juris discussion of a massacre of civilians as a “counter offensive”!

If you looked at the “left” feed on October 7 you might think there was no murder kidnapping rape of civilians, kids, babies, elderly, civilians that day but just “resistance” and “decolonisation”

Wait as an Israeli I agree but why are your demands to Israel and not first to Hamas which is holding them hostage ? Also I’m for releasing Palestinian political prisoners even before but still let’s not fall into comparing 9 months old baby or toddler both parents murdered to the prisoners
