The National Study of American Life, which studies the social determinants of health in preventing and treating Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in Black and white Americans, was cut less than 2 months after it's renewal.
"Money was rescinded, as they say, at the highest level. The administration no longer considers this an important priority."
