Wait! Stop right now! I thought we only had to buy you breakfast cereal. Now we have to have waffles for you as well? Fickle 🙄.

If you come to the CA Bay Area, you can stay in our new guest room. We’ll have shelves of cereal set aside. Milk in your own fridge, if you want!

I call myself “an obedient rebel”. It’s caused problems.

Yes, yet the percentages of successful marriages and “leave them on the alter” are the same. I was so let down.

Viggo Mortensen performs "The Oath of Elendil" in Elvish, the song he sings during Aragorn’s coronation scene. 👑

Joe owes you one of your songs for your birthday. That was lovely.

So many layers to that idea. First up- “Killers deserve to be mocked.”

Honestly, I bought a smaller car simply so I could park in median spaces on streets where no permits are needed. #ModernDayNeeds

Isabel Allende often writes books about women in tough spots who figure out a way through — a recurring theme that’s not far off from her own story. She recently discussed her career, grief and more. Read, listen or watch “The Interview.” nyti.ms/4m6mQED

Literally. I’m so jealous of the beautiful Up Dog/Down Dog our pup frequently does.

My children’s version is “Your face is _____________. “A dessert” would certainly fit. Personally, I don’t have an issue
with that one.

I invite everyone to join me in choosing 1 of the 3 photos below as your Bluesky profile pic for the 20th only. It's MLK Day, and flags are SUPPOSED to be at half staff for Pres. Carter, but Mr. Baby In Chief will be raising them to full staff for his "event". Please DON'T LIKE JUST repost. 🔁 Thx

I was laid up with stomach flu this weekend and my family was watching Episode 4. I was so tired but made myself stay up because, you know, I HAD SEE THE DEATH STAR EXPLODE.

I got a message asking me how to make sweet potato casserole for their Canadian Thanksgiving (“Marshmallows might be a problem, sweetie.”).

I grew up north of San Diego and swear I never heard “the” until recently in any part of the state. The most I’d add is “I” to “I-5” (it sings better 🤣).

I live in San Jose now and will continue my usual efficient way of freeway expression. Forever.

Yes! I’m so excited when my students “forget” theirs at school!!!!
