Harry Clarke’s stained glass panels on show at Dublin’s National Museum of Decorative Arts are 🤩. Clarke deploys colour and light to great effect in these panels, some on loan from the Crawford Gallery in Cork. 🌟🌟

With its vibrant explosion of colour, pattern and texture, Stanley Cursiter’s 'The Ribbon Counter,' is one of a small and important group of Futurist-inspired works he painted in 1913; it evokes the frenzied atmosphere of the early years of the 20thC.

Colour & Light show currently on at The Higgins Bedford. Includes a stunning VR collaborative artwork created by Alison Goodyear and inspired by the C20th prints also on display.

A super-informative, enjoyable and stimulating two days of presentations on current research in Irish art history. So much to think about. First visit to QUB campus and the Ulster Museum too - the 'Light from the West' display was a total joy 🤩

First time in this fine Dublin cinema. Not for Napoleon but I fully intend seeing it (blessed as I am with little in-depth historical knowledge of the man or his doings)!

Rather sadly - my first post on here is to let anyone who will listen know that English/Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes is facing massive redundancies - 40% of staff to be culled by January including my own role. Please share and support, we are trying to save our livelihoods #SaveBrookesEnglish
