So, I was appointed Editor-in-Chief at Biology & Philosophy in January. It is a huge honour and I am really proud to be the first philosopHer in the role. Thank you to Michael Weisberg, out going EiC, for all his hard work for the journal over many years - they are big shoes to fill.

Can we also erase jet lag? I would be up for nearly every week. I have friends and colleagues all over the world that the stimulation of seeing outweighs the stress.

John Dupre would be the one to ask for details, but Thiel has been radical since his Stanford days.

I’m so glad you are enjoying the show. I always wanted to write something about it — there is a lot of quite astonishing substance in it. Especially for the era. We live for the one, we die for the one.

Decides is used because it’s something within the power of the CMA (the body that governs the Paris Agreement) to do. But yes it’s definitely a strong verb (stronger than requests, invites, calls on).

It is so decided! 🇺🇳

Despite tough politics, we secured a flawed but good finance deal for developing countries. The real need—$1.3T per year—was acknowledged. A threefold increase to a $300B mobilization goal was set.

But the real win? A shift in focus to structural reforms to make finance flow.
