There were 4 COVID-19 outbreaks in long-term care homes in Manioba last week (Sept 21 to 27, 2025), and there have been 23 this season. There have been no Influenza outbreaks this season yet.

The WRHA outbreak website no longer exists.

Big differences in test positivity and severe outcomes between COVID-19 and Influenza, with no severe outcomes associated with Influenza in Manitoba last week (Sep 21 to 27, 2025). In contrast there were 35 hospitalizations and 2 fatalities associated with COVID-19.

www.gov.mb.ca/health/publi...
Figure shows that there were many severe outcomes associated with COVID-19 for last week and this season, compared to Influenza which had none.
