I'm having a very not good day for other reasons. Just got a text from a guy I shot my shot at a few months ago and got (sorta) gently let down.

"Hey Abigail, I had a change of plans and would you want to do <group thing> tonight at <public place>. Cuz I need a distraction."

When I would set up troubleshooting meetings with clients, I'd make them 30 minutes instead of an hour. People will take up as much time as you give them.

It's a public school under Title IX and gender identity/gender expression is protected in their anti-discrimination policy (I checked all that before even applying). So, I'm working on the assumption that doesn't change and Bostock remains good law.

Yep. The only decisions I've gotten so far have been from two schools that sent me the "not moving your application forward" on the day the job closed. Obviously they were looking for internal candidates but legally had to post the job anyway.
