In case anyone's looking for a solid ICE warning whistle, I did some research on the best model. Can confirm, it's loud. Ships with free earplugs and a lanyard. Recommended:
World's Loudest | HyperWhistle
HyperWhistle, the world's loudest ever recorded whistle. Dialing in at 142 dB. This is the world's most powerful mouth blown whistle.

Trump didn't strike a Greenland deal. After a humiliating climbdown on the world stage, he had a chat with the Secretary General of NATO, who has no power to strike a deal on behalf of Denmark, and announced he had a "framework" for a deal.

I can't imagine why the Greenlanders aren't lining up to be part of this amazing Republic we've got here.
Note that Karoline Leavitt refuses to answer when asked if Trump backs Miller calling Pretti a "domestic terrorist."

It's now clear Vance miscalculated badly by rushing out to smear the victims and declare ICE has total immunity. This is getting away from them.

That's a lie. The state of Minnesota has assisted ICE in various ways, including identifying criminals in state custody to facilitate their deportation. And DHS turns around and lies about that, too.
Blanche: "Remember, what we all saw in that 10 or second video is not the full story. Every American should know that. The story goes way beyond that. It starts with the fact that literally for months we have received 0 assistance from the state of Minnesota."

ICE are kidnappers. They will blast your door open with explosives and drag you away without a judicial warrant. They steal children.
Bovino: "When politicians, community leaders, & some journalists engage in that heated rhetoric we keep talking about, when they make the choice to vilify law enforcement calling law enforcement 'Gestapo' or using the term 'kidnapping,' that is a choice & there are actions & consequences."

A stark moment in this morning's hearing in Minnesota when an attorney for the state is staying this:
Carter: If this is not stopped, right here, right now, I don't think anyone who is seriously looking at this can have much faith in how our republic is going to go in the future.

The execution of Alex Pretti is playing so badly because you can look at his actions and life story - his last act was helping, boy scout, athlete, health care worker to veterans - and compare those to the men who killed him and know which you would want to be your son, brother, father, uncle.

This is extraordinarily gross in addition to being profoundly ignorant. Also the remote school thing is an Adams policy.
I think it's really bad that the group that claims to speak for Jews at Columbia University is so grossly xenophobic.

The Trump regime is trying to run the Greenland playbook in Alberta: Egg on the separatists, split off the territory, move in for the kill. Luckily, Trump botched it with his military threats and killed Greenland separatism for the foreseeable future.
Therein lay the contradiction:i t isn't about sovereignty. It is about joining the United States, which, at this moment is bonkers.

"Of the most committed separatists in Alberta, 70 per cent would consider joining the United States instead of becoming an independent nation."
3 in 10 Albertans would vote for independence — but only half committed to separating: poll | Globalnews.ca
Ipsos said for about half of separatist supporters, independence is more a political message to Ottawa than a plan they are prepared to suffer costs and sacrifices to achieve.
