Once upon some distant ancient day, there was no music-- it's not been invented/discovered/recognized.

And then one day some caveman came up with the first song.

"Wanna hear my song?"

"What the hell is a song?"

So he sang his song, and there were probably a lot of folks who just sorta shrugged.

I grew up through the 70s understanding absolutely that Cash was a brave rebellious complicated genius. I had the chance to hear him live at least four times. I screamed for joy at his late stage re-discovery by hipsters. Cash is among the best of what our nation might be. Should be.
