I just realized when I met @agramuglia.bsky.social my friend was having her kid and I became a aunt. Damn near 7 years later and a my friend, him, is having a kid. In another 7 will another friend of mine have a kid?

I knew from the start she would never have accepted it.

I made a calculated decision. And honestly, i probably would have changed the terms early on had she accepted, because, honestly, even i wouldn't want to drag out a cruel joke that long.

I watched this today and this people that want ban stuff want you ignorant, not question anything, don't be independent of thought. It's important to support and protect the diversity of voices and experiences, because that brings discussion, knowledge and help to mature as individuals too.

There is not a situation I can think of where both of those folks need hospital care. Full stop. A hospital is for treating folks who need treatment. Let them get it.

The most frustrating part is that the folks who say things you vehemently disagree with will also assume you're cool with them saying that, and I'm just like "Uh....what?"

I think the internet just has a way of exhausting folks fast.

Another frustrating element of internet drama is if you are arguing against the same person, bad faith onlookers will see the worst actions of those siding against a common adversary and associate you with it.

And that nonsense I think DEFINITELY has burned me out.
