Oooh, thank you for such a thorough answer! It doesn't surprise me you're a research-type writer because your writing does have this "in situ" element, where I really believe in the settings you place the characters in.

Also, the paintings live in my mind rent-free. I've always loved that part.

And I think that gives a big look into how they became so close and learnt how to talk to each other. Esp when people started leaving - like Suchwita pointed out, Yoongi is the person who has always been at Joon's side.

Also, I think they simply realised they just liked each other as people!

I think their roles as the hip-hop educators for the group also did a lot for them in directing their energies and making them realise, "ok, this other guy /understands/, he gets it". There's that quote from Joon about Yoongi specifically - all his heroes were my heroes, we were "billboard kids" etc

His bookworm trait is something I treasure 💕 he doesn't act lightly about what he truly cares about, that's for sure.

Also, I want to acknowledge there are mixed responses about the representation in the book from the autism community, just in case you haven't read it and you're intrigued.

just saw a post elsewhere that listed the books yoongi has either recommended or been seen with. on there is "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" and...is it true he has read this??? because the thought of yoongi reading that "swindon is the arsehole of the world" is taking me tf out

Falling in love again with RM’s Domodachi from RPWP!

The song is so eerie with its creepy chorus of fake friends singing their refrain “let’s dance here!” like they’re sirens. The dissonance between the lyrics and the music really gets Namjoon’s point across: these ppl aren’t his friends. +

i think on SH during stop the rain era, tablo was asked for 'BTS x Epik High song collab'. and he was BAFFLED, because 'BTS has three amazing rappers already' (sir that's WHY we want it!!). but then an ARMY said 'what about Epikase/Run BTS' and he was all in on the idea 😭 i hope they make it happen
