I guess the “well ackchually” person who told us to calm down deleted their comment but I still want to clarify that while I totally get that the photo caption is a very Kristen Bell bit, I just think it was tone deaf and didn’t land at all when it was typed out that way. Hence, my yikes.

Anyway I'm seeing him live Thurs night for about the 7th time and I have mixed feelings about it going in. I'm sure I'll enjoy the show and sing along and be glad I went, but I feel a little "meh" about it atm. Bonus is we'll also get to go see a friend playing a little spot on Broadway Weds night.

I wonder if the roles had been reversed, would folks have been as critical of him for the same responses to the same behaviors. Overall it definitely helped me separate man from artist in a way I hadn't before and realize there is NO WAY I could live with that man. Kudos to her for trying, I guess.

I finally watched the Isbell doc last night and I know when it came out, it made a lot of people irritated at Amanda. So I don't know if it's because I'm watching with a couple years' followup context or what, but I felt a great deal of empathy for her and the emotional load she bore over the years.
