Sadly very little to No research on older people & #EDS or its interaction with other conditions. I can understand that in relation to say Marfans because historically diagnosis was poor & life expectancy impacted. But not the case with EDS.

You are so lovely: not equine - Ehlers Danlos - gets a bit worse as we age - having been bendy - may even be bendy brained. COVID19- and all that & risk! - I got EDS from my mum, gave it to my medical doctor daughter- & so on…

Green mountains and valleys and quote from Jesus the Beatitudes: Blessing pace makers who exemplify Gods will for all all -Peace. Real peace makers are therefore Children of God.

With hip being bone-on-bone doing exercise (especially when like me you are a Zebra - and have @ehlersdanlos.bsky.social ) can be tough. Aqua-Aerobics almost daily has triggered significant weight loss & strengthened & lengthened muscles in legs.

Prevalence & differential progression linked to ethnicity (or genome) is also observed. African-American more likely to have knee issues vs White American hip. I refused hip surgery. My gran & mum both done. Over last year been doing Aqua-Aerobics 5XWk, lost 32Kgs & will have surgery later.
