The move is designed to remove "unnecessary bureaucracy" & raise £1bn a year by the end of the parliament to improve services for patients by freeing up more cash for operations.

Tonight in Paignton UK spending Remembrance Sunday at the beautiful #PalaceHotel - during WW2 our friends from #Canada were stationed in glorious Devon, as were also a training branch of the airforce. So important we remember their sacrifice & our enduring friendship. @cdnhistoryehx.bsky.social
