Woke up because my Al controlled bed is too cold. Went to adjust
temperature and I can't because the Eight Sleep app is currently broken. Can't adjust by hand because I have a Pod3, not the upgraded Pod4 with
physical controls.
Now I am stuck in a cold bed. This feels dystopian.

The reason the Catholic Church is going so hard in the name of immigrants being deported by ICE is that—though the media can never stop Islamaphobic fear mongering for ten seconds to acknowledge the fact—the vast majority of them are Catholic.

In the hierarchy of capitalist economics, the middle class is abused by the ruling class, but allowed to indulge in the fantasy of superiority over and permission to abuse the working class. It isn’t smart or tactical, it’s just cathartic. The more humiliated they feel, the more vicious they get.

The mythical “middle class” serves as more of a wedge than a bridge, simultaneously a carrot and a stick that rewards ignoring inequity with the illusion of comfortable stability. That illusion is being ripped away for many, and the reality is their mountains of debt.
