They should have. Dumb penalties. Terrible special teams. Bad offensive play calling.

Journalism 101: if someone says it's raining & someone else says it isn't - the journalists job to go THE F OUTSIDE and find out.

But I guess the tattered remains of journalism is now just giving a group of proven, notorious liars with power equal billing, and who cares about objective truth.

Should the New York Times be sold to Pennysaver and its editors sent to work in Amazon warehouses? It depends on who you ask.

seems like a non-insignificant percentage of rage against the machine's fanbase are young republican men driving SUVs bopping their head to anti-oil, pro-immigrant songs thinking the lyrics are about how they wish their suburban parents would get off their back
Tom Morello tweets: "Fascinating that all those “don’t tread on me” posers and their AR-15’s are nowhere to be seen and government tyranny is instead being opposed by a guy in an inflatable frog suit."

Someone named Manny replies: "@grok
why do some people say Tom Morello and band mates are RAGE FOR THE MACHINE and not against ?"

This is my wife Katrina.

I haven't mentioned her much - she's not a huge fan of the limelight.

But she is a quiet force of nature.

She keeps me honest, asks tough questions, and is an advocate herself for women, nature, and our neighbourhood.

Let's show Katrina some love!

Wow, there it is.

COUNCILLOR MIAN: “there were many of us around the table who struggled with the arena decision, right? We were like: This is a huge decision. It's a lot of money. And it was largely led by the Communities First folks.”

Calgary mayoral candidates are bickering about which arena deal was best—and who got fleeced. And an outgoing city councillor now says progressive councillors voted yes to the deal in 2023 "at great political cost." Here's how the deal got done. (Listen and/or read!) #yyccc

REACH UP raised. As a former commissioner for Calgary Police Commission I know about that project, what went down & where the province poisoned the soup. I also chaired the finance & audit committee for the commission. I allocated that $603 million budget. Sharp's 500 police officers = farcical.

Because Communities First is a UCP-backed party... they'll never criticise the province.

B.C. Premier David Eby is clearly beyond frustrated with Danielle Smith's pipeline dreams threatening the B.C. economy.

In a fiery statement, he called her out directly stating...

"This is not the Danielle Smith show!"

Everything they are doing & saying right now is very obviously meant to clear the way for mass repressive violence.

Fact checking is not going to do shit.

Talking about kitchen table issues is not going to do shit.

We need open, unapologetic defiance & conflict.

Grateful to receive the endorsement of two-term Ward 8 Councillor Evan Woolley.

He was a strong voice for Ward 8 and brought positive change to our City.

So if you want a Ward 8 councillor who will speak up for Ward 8 and fight FOR change and not AGAINST everything, vote Nate for 8!

Not another penny of taxpayer's money should go to private schools until our public school system is fairly funded.

Alberta is one of the richest places in the world. It is political malpractice that our public education system has been left to rot this way.

Most of the power authoritarians have is freely given. We should not comply with them in advance.

Trump is far weaker than he looks. So is the GOP. We should draw them out, drain them at every opportunity, and fight for people’s wellbeing at every turn.

We have been sent here to fight for people.

However, they are weaker than they look…

Utter contempt and disrespect from Bruce McAllister.

Cutting off the kid's mic and limiting his freedom of expression is one thing, but saying he should be spanked is a fireable offense from a supposedly neutral moderator. Bruce needs to be removed immediately.

At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Telling.

Remember how lefties used to say "abolish ICE" back in the 2010s, and got roundly scolded by the centrists for it ever since, and now events have shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were 1000% on the correct side of history, but somehow they're still being scolded? Fun.

Just because a bunch of RW nut jobs, whose votes Danielle Smith needs to stay premier, have loony views on wind turbines.

This will cost Albertans more on their energy bills in the short term and billions to the province in the long term. Shameful
