Yeah, but no one is going "we need to forcibly put 50% more bisexuals in this game". It might not always be the best writing, but straight relationships can also feel forced. Cis characters can be poorly written. And those don't get accusations of being "intrusive".

I think part of what you're missing here is that "intrusive" diversity just isn't a thing. People put representations of themselves and people in their lives into games, cue bigots complaining that having to see their existence is intrusive. I don't complain about games with straight relationships.

I mean, it's not nothing, but it's close. They're promising more transparency in the future to prevent funding transphobia...but still doing it this one time. "Ugh it's tearing us up inside that we're going to stab you in the back, if only something could be done about this knife we're picking up."

Had a great "oh god I'm old" moment when I decided I might want to go see a movie, and I'm still pissed when they raised the price from $7 to $13, because even at $7 I'd usually just wait for things to play at the $4 theatre, and apparently three of us going to a movie would now cost 75 DOLLARS

It's really messed up that one of the best restaurants nearby like doubled their prices, but keep advertising a "buy one get one free" deal, but the deal is always limited to...fries. I don't want double the fries. Give me double everything but the fries. Work with me here
