From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett. The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

El texto entero es para hacerle un traje a rayas, pero estos párrafos en concreto me tienen frito desde hace mucho: si este juez no estuviera de ariete de la derecha contra Sánchez, esto sería un escandalazo que habría acabado con él fuera de la carrera judicial hace ya tiempo:
Otra batalla pendiente es un viejo conflicto en el pueblo de su familia, La Adrada, que se ha reactivado a raíz de la mala prensa que le ha acarreado el caso Begoña Gómez. Peinado construyó un chalé en terreno no edificable tras recibir en 2004 una licencia del Ayuntamiento socialista de Juan José Tomás. El sucesor, el también socialista Hilario Gabriel Ruda, le ordenó por escrito el 12 de mayo de 2006 que paralizara la obra, tras lo cual Peinado telefoneó indignado al regidor y le dijo: “Parece mentira. Con todo lo que yo he hecho por La Adrada”. El alcalde no entendió a qué contribución se refería. Peinado desoyó la prohibición y siguió construyendo la vivienda de dos plantas más sótano, pero tras gastarse 347.243 euros, dejó de pagar al constructor. “Me dijo, ‘no tengo dinero, dame más tiempo”, recuerda Gregorio Ruano, quien le reclamaba 80.000 euros más. Peinado se quejaba de que el sótano se le inundaba por defectos en el pozo, pero Ruano le respondía que eso no era culpa suya porque el juez había elegido construir una vivienda ilegal sin la necesaria conexión al alcantarillado público. En 2012, la Audiencia Provincial condenó a Peinado a pagar 75.000 euros al constructor. En La Adrada era vox populi que la construcción de esa vivienda había sido ilegal, pero muchos desconocían que el dueño era el juez y solo lo han sabido gracias al reciente interés mediático. Ha sido un quebradero de cabeza más para Peinado porque se ha publicado que el chalé seguía sin tener todos los papeles en regla.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
