I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

~20 years between Tron movies feels like a good amount of time between entries. The way genre, tone, and tech themes shift from film to film are the stuff of cult classics. I'm glad this film got made and I will keep defending it!

having just watched Tron: Ares, I think Jared Leto was perfectly cast. if there was ever a guy who I’m supposed to believe is a computer program that now wants to live in the real world, it’s absolutely him

Really good performances from supporting cast, and Leto as Ares was actually perfect casting. Healthy doses of nostalgia bait and callbacks. High speed chases set to pulsing music. A believable villain and an ideological protag for our times.

This film kinda slaps.
End of line.
