Thanks to @criterionchannl.bsky.social finally watched John Carpenter's Vampires today (now the only movie of JC's I haven't seen is his Elvis bio) and yeah -- it's not good. But Tim Guinee made for one sexy priest -- he should've been the lead so no one had to suffer through looking at James Woods

I joke but it was an obscenity of a moment & he's lucky I didn't fucking punch him in the face. I was closer to my grandmother than I was to anyone in my family growing up and my being gay with her being extremely religious had torn me in two for half my life. These people are genuinely disturbed
