Perspective, proportions, and anatomy are all wildly off here; mostly because I tried drawing from static references instead of 3D models. It produces less accurate results, but its far more fun for me

I took a break from big projects and just did a sketch of #Frieren taking an (unintentional) nap πŸ’– This marks the first time I've drawn something purely for fun, and it was nice 😊 Expect more of these low-effort sketches in the future~

Why am I so depressed? I think it's because I'm so jaded by life at this point - I see anything good as something fleeting, even when that's not necessarily the case. In trying to protect myself from collapse, I've been living in an alternate reality where all the bad things I fear already happened

Had a pretty good Halloween - handed out candy to like 30 trick-or-treaters! It was our first time doing this while living on our own after years of being too depressed and/or in crisis mode. We barely had the energy, but we finally actually celebrated Halloween πŸ’–πŸ’€πŸŽΊ

I know it's possible, but I just cannot see our situation improving. The (federal) government is abandoning us, costs are rising, and we have no way to increase our income.

Donations wouldn't help, nor are we in immediate danger. It's a sustainability problem.

I guess a remote job would do it...?

I can kinda see that actually - especially since Stream Aru and Social Media Aru have pretty different demeanors (sometimes Stream Aru peeks out on here though). Neither is inauthentic, it's complicated lol

Just got inspired to write a full instrumental symphony about dreams and expectations, reality, and acceptance. It's an overall optimistic message.

I have no idea if I will actually write it, but I kind of planned it out on vacation. We'll see if that inspiration sticks when I return to my setup
