Friday Fiction: Not With A Bang

Welcome to this month's (early!) Friday Fiction - given it's barely November (and given I only posted October's piece last week!), but when you're writing something seasonal it's a good idea to get it posted promptly. This particular Park Files entry is directly inspired by a of fireworks display I went to as a youngster where, yes, we did get banned after a firework damaged a local roof!

Morning :)

It's Friday and (at least currently) the sun's out which always makes things look better.

Currently dealing with my list of weekly jobs (about half way through already). Once that's all tackled, though, I should be able to start on the list of doom (unless my clients have other ideas!)

...and it does mean I can spend the wait time doing other things!

Draft 5 is almost good to go, so that will likely be first up.

Then draft 2, which I really, REALLY need to wrap up today/tomorrow.

If I can also squeeze in some draft 6, that would be great, too.

Better today - not quite so randomly sore and there might even be something that looks like motivation!

The day job list is down to four items, none of which I can actually do much with unless/until people get back to me, which is mildly annoying, but also how it goes sometimes...
