I really liked our final phase shape the first 30 minutes today, essentially a 3-2-5 with frimpong and Gakpo wide, wirtz and Mo as dual tens and ekitike as the nine. That front five really complements each other in terms of which spaces they like to occupy, and we were causing havoc the whole time.

Starts with our press being much braver. The fullbacks pushing up to deny the outlet ball to the winger forces the long clearance, then CM tracks all the way back to make the recovery and start the transition.
