i graduated college with a game design degree in dec 2023. as far as im aware, only one person from either the class of '23 or '24 has gotten a job at an actual studio. a few are trying to make it as indies. ive not seen an entry level job listing that isn't a clear scam in months.

Forgot to share my houses!! All done in fountain pen when I first started and was trying to get used to a new inking style And drawing houses for the first time :3

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

as for actual legit answer, art is inherently a part of video games, they don't exist without it. be that visual, literary, sound, whatever. so is an art exhibit a piece of art in itself? that's a debate that's existed since the practice of curation has existed.
