Brian Eastwood Blue Moon
The Brian Eastwood Blue Moon guitar was built for Showaddywaddy guitarist Russ Field in 1980. Eastwood had to build it in 72 hours because the band's cover of "Blue Moon" charted way sooner than they were expecting, and they had to make an appearance on Top of the Pops. The guitar looks like a blue crescent moon with a 13-fret guitar neck coming out of the middle. The neck ends in a chrome 5-pointed star. The moon is frowning, and its eye is worriedly looking back at a large white cloud. The tuners for the guitar are behind this cloud, and the volume and tone controls are on the cloud. The pickup is hidden inside the body.
