For certain readers and authors "Fantasy" seems to mean "Superheroes, re-skinned"; that's fine, but it's really not for me.

Though I enjoy Sword & Sorcery as a cloak over other genres, if I'm in the mood for superheroes then that's just what I'll read or watch. I want something else from Fantasy.

Decay is caused by the necromantic influence of ghosts. The reason people don't seem to age as quickly as they used to is the decreased belief in the supernatural, thus robbing ghosts of their powers.

For the last 20+ years there has been a hole in my heart the size and shape of Atomoton's mech anime themed action figure CCG skirmish game Z-G and I am thoroughly vexed that nobody has tried crowdfunding a spiritual successor.
